FREE PROPOSAL / COLOR CONSULT
We provide free proposals. At your request, we can help coordinate some of Mankato’s best designers who understand color theory. With their assistance, it will reduce your stress and ultimately save you time and make the decision process easier for you! Three questions to consider while picking colors… How will the space be decorated? What’s the focal point in the space? How much natural light is in the space?
PICKING COATINGS & SHEENS
Choosing the right coating and sheen can tough, so we will try to simplify the process for you. Firstly, we use some of the best lines of paint on the market ensuring that the durability of the coating will hold up in your space! The second part of choosing the right coating is selecting the right sheen for your space. Sheen can be described as how much light is reflected off of the surface. Higher the sheen shinier the surface.
Ceilings – We recommend using an ultra flat sheen to minimize any imperfections.
Walls – We recommend using flat, matte or eggshell sheens.
SET UP
We understand the importance of keeping your home clean and minimizing the disruption in your family’s lives. When we arrive, we will set up shop in one designated area of your home. Before any coating is opened, we will cover the flooring and furniture as needed to provide protection while we are working on you project.
PAINTING
After we finish setting up shop in a designated location, we address the prep work. Some of the most common prep work we complete is fix, sand and prime drywall patches. After all of the prep work is complete, we will then start coating the substrates. We usually recommend two coats on most color changes to ensure proper coverage.
CLEANUP / CHECKLIST
When your project is nearly complete, we will conduct a visual checklist with you to ensure all of our craft has completed to your expectations. We will also label the touch up paint and leave it with you in your home!
